Payment & Refund Policy

At The Travel Advocates, we strive to make your travel planning seamless and transparent. Below are our payment and refund guidelines to ensure clarity and trust at every step.

Payment Policy
  1. Booking Confirmation:

    • non-refundable deposit (20-30% of the total package cost) is required to confirm your booking.

    • Full payment must be completed at least 30 days before departure (unless specified otherwise for last-minute bookings).

  2. Accepted Payment Methods:

    • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)

    • Bank Transfers (NEFT/IMPS/RTGS)

    • UPI Payments (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm)

    • Travel Now, Pay Later options (subject to approval)

  3. Payment Deadlines:

    • Failure to complete payments by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of your booking.

    • Customized or high-demand packages may require earlier full payment.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand plans change. Here’s how refunds work:

  1. Cancellation by Customer:

    • Before 30 days of departure:

      • Refund of 70-80% of the total amount (excluding deposit).

    • Within 30-15 days of departure:

      • Refund of 50% of the total amount (excluding deposit).

    • Within 14 days or less:

      • No refund (except for recoverable costs like flights/hotels).

  2. No-Show or Early Departure:

    • No refunds for unused services due to late arrival or voluntary trip termination.

  3. Force Majeure (Natural Disasters, Political Unrest, etc.):

    • Travel credits will be issued for future bookings (valid for 12 months).

    • Refunds (if any) will exclude non-recoverable costs (e.g., airline/hotel penalties).

Rescheduling Policy
  • Changes to travel dates are subject to availability.

  • Rescheduling fees may apply (varies by airline/hotel policies).

  • Must be requested at least 15 days before departure.

Refund Processing Time
  • 7-14 business days after approval.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

Important Notes
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unforeseen cancellations.

  • Airline/hotel refunds follow their respective policies (we assist in claims).

  • Promotional/booked-on-discount packages may have stricter cancellation rules.
