Our representative will drive you to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, after you arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), which serve as the entry points to the state.
Estimated distance: 120 km. Eight hours will be needed for the trip. Enjoy an exquisitely opulent breakfast at the Gangtok hotel to start your day. Following breakfast, we embark on a day trip to the oval-shaped Tsomgo Lake, which is 40 kilometres away from Gangtok. At 3,780 meters high and an average depth of 50 feet, Tsongmo Lake is home to the Brahminy duck and a number of migratory birds. Then proceed 17 km past Tsongo Lake to Baba Mandir. The shrine known as Baba Mandir is dedicated to Indian Army Captain Harbajan Singh, who is remembered to this day for his unique tale. Head back to your Gangtok hotel at the end. Begin your day in Sikkim with a hearty breakfast, followed by a full-day Gangtok city tour. Visit Bakthang Waterfall (3.5 km away) for scenic views and photo stops. Head to Tashi View Point (8 km) for panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range. Stop by the historic Enchey Monastery (currently closed), home to monks and the vibrant Detor Cham festival. Explore the sacred Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, followed by a visit to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (currently closed), known for its rare Buddhist manuscripts. End with a walk through the colorful Flower Exhibition Centre, near MG Marg. Return to your hotel for dinner and your final night in Gangtok.

Zoological Park (closed Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed Sundays), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway, and the Japanese Temple. Evening is free for shopping or leisure.
